Prices and Project Quotations

Prices shown in our Price Guides are subject to change without notice.

Project Quotations

Quotes are valid for a maximum of 30 days from the date of the quotation, except where this period has been extended in writing by the Plumbing Specialities factory. Plumbing Specialities must have a written, signed purchase order from the customer. No order placed with Plumbing Specialities shall be considered accepted until the completion of the order entry process. The purchaser is provided with a formal acceptance and a copy of Plumbing Specialities’s order as entered for production, complete with the shipment schedule (order confirmation). Plumbing Specialities’s order confirmation is the governing document, and the customer is responsible for advising the factory, in writing, of any noncompliance with the purchase order. All orders are subject to credit approval before shipment. All orders are subject to acceptance by the Plumbing Specialities factory in the City of Industry, California. No agent or representative of the company is authorized to make any exceptions.

All content on this site, including text, graphics, logos, button icons, images, digital downloads, data compilations, and software, as well as linked/downloaded materials, including, without limitation, technical materials, specifications, literature/brochures, drawings, photos, and installation instructions, is the property of MGI and is protected by United States and international copyright laws.

All trademarks included on this site are owned by Morris Group International and its subsidiaries/Divisions and may not be used without the express written consent and license from MGI. Payment Terms

Net 30 days from the date of invoice. An unpaid invoice is considered late unless received within 30 days of shipment and becomes subject to a service charge of 2% per month starting with a due date. The invoice is assumed to have been received by the customer if the factory is not notified of non-receipt within ten days after receipt of goods. If legal action is necessary to enforce payment, the purchaser will pay any court costs and reasonable attorney fees.

Taxes

Any sales or manufacturer’s tax imposed under existing or future statutes may be added to the price and shall be paid by the buyer. Should any buyer claim exemption from sales taxation, the factory must receive a Resale Certificate before invoicing.

Minimum Invoice

The minimum invoice is $100.00 net.

Mechanics Liens

Plumbing Specialities has the right to request from its customer all required information needed to file a preliminary notice to perfect a lien at a future time if necessary. Any material shipped will be held back until the plumbing specialty factory receives this information.

Freight

All shipments are F.O.B. Factory, City of Industry, California, except where expressly stated otherwise. A $8.00 surcharge per package is added to all small parcel shipments.

Weights

All weights shown in Plumbing Specialities literature or quotations are estimates and are not guaranteed.

Shipping Date

Every effort is made to comply with scheduled shipping dates; however, Plumbing Specialities is not liable for any loss or damage arising from delayed delivery of any of its products due to causes beyond the company's control. When a customer order is scheduled and in production, changes in shipping date can only be honored by written notice, with the understanding that any charges incurred will be charged to the purchaser. Rescheduling can only be made based on factory convenience.

Transportation Claims

The responsibility of Plumbing Specialities ceases upon delivery of goods in good order to the transportation company. All goods are shipped at the consignee’s risk, and the consignee must file freight claims for losses or damages in shipment. For the consignee’s protection, the shipment should be inspected immediately upon receipt. Suppose any damage is visible - regardless of the consignee’s opinion on whether it is damaged or defective. In that case, the consignee must have the shipment inspected by the delivering carrier, and an inspection report must be made.

Shortages

No claim for failure to receive shipment will be honored unless Plumbing Specialities is notified within a reasonable time after receipt of the invoice. No claim for shortages will be honored unless Plumbing Specialities is notified within five working days after receipt of shipment.

Returned Goods

Material shall be returned with written permission. When granted, no credit will be issued until the purchaser supplies the correct invoice number and date covering the original shipment of material. All material must be returned freight prepaid. All credits, when issued, are subject to a 35% handling charge.

Product Approvals

Every effort is made to quote on materials equal or superior to those specified when quoting equivalent materials. Plumbing Specialities-Super Secur will provide, at no cost, certified data sheets for submission to the architect/engineer/owner for approval. Plumbing Specialities-Super Secur cannot guarantee this approval. The limit of our responsibility is to provide the material precisely as quoted. When materials are approved and submitted, the limit of Plumbing Specialities-Super Secur’s responsibility is to furnish the material as approved. Product modifications or alternate products will only be furnished at current selling prices.

Field Measurements

When required, they are the purchaser's responsibility and must be transmitted to Plumbing Specialities-Super Secur in writing. Measurements made by Plumbing Specialities-Super Secur employees or representatives are acceptable only when verified and approved in writing by the purchaser/contractor.

Change in Specifications or Cancellations

These can only be honored by written notice, with the understanding that the purchaser will be charged for any incurred charges.

Limited Warranty

Plumbing Specialities warrants that all of its products are guaranteed against defective material or poor workmanship for one (1) year from the date of installation or eighteen (18) months from the date of shipment from the factory, whichever occurs first. Plumbing Specialities’ liability under this warranty shall be discharged by replacing it without charge F.O.B. City of Industry, California, any goods, or parts thereof, which appear to the company upon inspection to be of defective material or not of first-class workmanship, provided that claim is made in writing to the company within a reasonable period after receipt of the product. Where claims for defects are made, the defective part or parts shall be delivered to the company, prepaid, at the City of Industry, California, for inspection. Plumbing Specialities will not be liable for the cost of repairs, alterations, replacements, or any expense connected to that made by the owner or his agents, except upon written authority from the Plumbing Specialities City of Industry office. Plumbing Specialities will not be liable for any damages caused by defective materials or poor workmanship, except for replacements, as provided above. Buyer agrees that Plumbing Specialities has made no other warranties, either expressed or implied in addition to those above stated, except that of title concerning any of the products or equipment sold hereunder and that Plumbing Specialities shall not be liable for general, special, or consequential damages claimed to arise under the contract of sale. Additional conditions that will void the warranty: Warranty is void if installation is not followed per current Plumbing Specialities Installation instructions have not been installed by the applicable local plumbing and building codes and regulations, and if components are assembled to the fixture, Plumbing Specialities does not approve them. Water supply to the unit from RO Reverse Osmosis filtration systems will damage fixture components and void the product Warranty. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive or petroleum-based cleaners; using these will void the product warranty. Warranty is void if the unit is allowed to operate outside the range of 20 PSIG to 105 PSIG with potable water only. Plumbing Specialities is not liable if the fixture has been exposed to conditions resulting from floods, earthquakes, winds, fire, freezing, lightning, or circumstances beyond Plumbing Specialities’s control or has been used for other than the intended purpose.

Limited Warranty Refrigeration System – USA & CANADA

Plumbing Specialities warrants the compressor and hermetically sealed refrigeration system, including the evaporator assembly, capillary tube, and condenser, to be free from defects in material and workmanship under regular use for an additional four (4) years from the end of the one (1) year period described above. Exception: when used outdoors, a sealed refrigeration system is warranted for (1) year. The unit must be rated for the outdoor environment. Units installed outdoors presume average conditions and require adequate protection to prevent exposure to extreme hot or cold temperatures, which may void the Warranty. Units are not freeze-resistant. Best practices include installation beneath an overhang and avoiding direct sunlight. Continual ambient temperatures exceeding 80°F (26.67°C) may cause the compressor to wear prematurely. Thermostat settings should never be field adjusted since damage to the fixture may occur, voiding the product Warranty. LIMITED EXPORT WARRANTY: One year on parts only.

Illustrations, detailed drawings, and accompanying descriptions describing standard features and sometimes optional variations of each product do not necessarily show or explain all the variations available. All designs are subject to change without notice, and unless stated in the order, the material of the design will be furnished in effect when the order is filled.
