Delivery Information
Shipping Date
Every effort is made to comply with scheduled shipping dates; however, Plumbing Specialities is not liable for any loss or damage caused by delays in delivery of any of its products because of causes beyond the company's control. When a customer order is scheduled and in production, changes in shipping date can only be honored by written notice, with the understanding that any charges incurred will be charged to the purchaser. Rescheduling can only be made based on factory convenience.
Transportation Claims
The responsibility of Plumbing Specialities ceases upon delivery of goods in good order to the transportation company. All goods are shipped at the consignee’s risk, and the consignee must file freight claims for losses or damages in shipment. For the consignee’s protection, the shipment should be inspected immediately upon receipt. Suppose any damage is visible - regardless of the consignee’s opinion on whether it is damaged or defective. In that case, the consignee must have the shipment inspected by the delivering carrier, and an inspection report must be made.
Shortages
No claim for failure to receive shipment will be honored unless Plumbing Specialities is notified within a reasonable time after receiving the invoice. No claim for shortages will be honored unless Plumbing Specialities is notified within five working days after receipt of shipment.
